About
Who I am
I call myself R-E-D because that sounds a little bit like my real name. I have blogged before under one of my favourite nicknames “Diana Rhiji” so if you’re an old reader/friend you don’t have to stop calling me Diana, I still love that name.
My Testimony
I am a Christian law student in India, in Christ since October 2005. My family has a different religion so I am not allowed to attend church, but I have a Bible (and an internet connection!) so it has been fairly easy to get access to teaching and fellowship. I became Christian from reading a Bible sent to me by a friend (the word of God is powerful and true) so I rely greatly on scripture when I witness to people about Jesus Christ.
Random stuff about me
I am vegetarian, I play piano, I love pretty and colourful paintings/artwork, I love children’s toys and games, I love children, I love photography, I love Shakespeare and old english, I love stationery, I love writing and there is very little that I hate.
The Original “Called to Fish”
I was Diana, “the Lord’s fish” at my original blog which is now Private for two reasons. First, I don’t want people to continue reading my writings there. People seemed to like what I wrote and sometimes I did too, but I was inconsistent with updates and often I forced myself to update. Kinda uncomfortable towards the end which led to my taking it off, but for the 6-ish months I blogged there I got over 20,000 hits and met some great people. I learned a lot and I got a whole lot more comfortable with my keyboard than I have ever been before. So second reason for making it Private, I just didn’t want to delete this precious blogging experience.
The new “Called to Fish”
This is it. I hope my writings will be more consistent and clearly expressed in this new blog. Time will tell where God leads me. At my old blog I wrote mostly about Christianity and my everyday experiences with God. I still intend to write all future posts, God willing, from a Christian perspective but I might work on a broader range of subjects… and my blogroll includes links to similar themed blogs as well as themes I don’t write about.

About my blogroll
I like not having too many links on my Blogroll so sometimes I rotate links and sometimes I don’t blogroll my favourite reads. I read many more blogs than I blogroll. If you’re on my sidebar one day and off the next; it’s not you, it’s me. If I don’t rotate my links I wont be able to display all the great blogs I want my readers to check out. But if you really love being on my blogroll, email me and I’ll try to keep you on as much as possible.
Comments…
I love comments and conversation. If you like reading what I write, or if you have something to add, or if you just wanna say hi, please comment. If you want me or my readers to check out your blog, say so. It’s nicer to be invited than to be spammed. If you want to talk but not through comments, feel free to email.
And read about my God at the BibleGateway website!

Am I totally oblivious? I just noticed the banner picture at the top of your blog. I love it! There is something familiar about it. I’m willing to bet I’m totally wrong, but it looks like an arctic coastline, say Alaska or Norway
I just downloaded it and blew it up. Looks more like part of the coast of Honshu (the biggest Japanese island).
The light is fabulous. The whole image would make a great desktop background. I assume it’s the rising sun. Or is it the rising Son?
Love da pict
